End Game

The world is black. And then you blink at your plate.

A portion of your favorite dish greets your eyes, albeit in a form you may never have seen it in before. Encased in a thick, wobbling layer of multi-colored gelatin, the food you know and love now sits suspended in its protein-based enclosure as an eccentric re-imagining of the dish. Furthermore, it only takes a glance to see that the rest of the dining table's spread shares this same theme, as every single dish, sweet or savory, finds itself victim to a jiggling Jell-o jail.

Still, you won't have much time to take this all in before a quiet, high-pitched giggling makes its way to your ears, only crescendoing in volume the longer you sit in this oh-so-familiar dining room. It doesn't take much to find the source of the sound either; unlike the other side, this place is absolutely teeming with fairies to the point where the fluttering of their iridescent wings is clearly audible behind the din of their laughter. As you come to your senses, dozens and dozens of beady eyes watch with their tiny faces stretched out in a wide grin, before speaking in unison.

"Welcome, we can't wait to serve you!"

As the fairies erupt in raucous laughter all around you, at least one more thing is readily apparent: however you met your end, your body is completely whole again. You also have company at the table with you, although whether it's desirable company or not may depend on the circumstances surrounding your death.

In any case, there's nothing stopping anyone from leaving the dining room and roaming freely as usual, and most of the same areas that were available to you on the other side are still present here, albeit with some differences. And though your life may have been stolen from you, it still looks like you have a part in this tale, somehow, someway.

So, will you let your story finish here, or will you write your own ending?

How many of us can actually fight? I'm not sure if we would have to physically... confront the entity in the mirrors, but I'd like to get a sense of how capable everyone is and where best to use all our resources if it comes down to having a chance to get all of us out of here and alive.

The living haven't been ignoring your letters
We'd been trying to prove that Jack and McGillis were the traitors for weeks

We don't talk about it at trials much because trials are on a time limit

I acquired salt and a katana from the shop. Everyone is free to grab a handful or more, and I am willing to lend the blade to anyone who needs it.

This came from the worm we battled last week. I don't know if it will reveal anything new, but I brought it just in case.

If you don't mind, I have some ideas when it pertains to salt...

I gotta grab another bow from the shop, but once I do, I'm good ta cover fer any noncombatants. I've said it before, but I've got experience with fightin' monsters.

Or... well, I've been working on it. I guess I'm not too bad with a polearm, aha... but, I don't plan on stopping! I don't want to hold any of you all back, and if I can improve... that makes our chances better, right?

Yor-san has been teaching me how to fight a little bit. How to use a knife and stuff.

I also got this iron sword from Ferry, if anyone can help me. I also have two bags of salt.

My sword fightin' is tailored to my sword, but I know how to fight with regular katana too, if ya need some basic lessons.

[They don't have time for Proper lessons, but he knows enough to at least get some knowledge to C-ta regardless]

I have absolutely zero fight experience in anything unless you count setting fires?

... Setting fires is a viable method of combat, since thread can be used for kindling, if they're like the worm we encountered.

I can teach you how to set up fuses.

Well. I know my way around polearms a bit and Yor showed me the right way to handle knives, but...well, I don't exactly have a good track record of winning fights.

You don't necessarily have to win. It's more holding your own until you can find some way to get out of the situation alive.

I don't have my sword, however I'm perfectly capable with katana and can adapt knives to it. [Knifes are the closest to shinsou F] I can do hand-to-hand as well.

I can fight of course, and I would like to give lessons in combat to anyone willing to learn this week. I'll try to cover as much as I can, but I don't know how much time we have. Still, I would feel more comfortable knowing everyone could defend themselves at least a little.

I'm mostly proficient with blades, but I know a thing or two about poisons as well.

No matter how skilled you guys are, it's would really bad idea fight whoever is in the mirror. I don't think any of you would survive if you tried.

I understand that, Ferry, but that doesn't discount anything else that may come our way - I was thinking about other opponents like the worm we encountered while we were trying to retrieve the crystal. Being caught unaware like that was not pleasant.
