GRAVEYARD

The world is black. And then you blink at your plate.

A portion of your favorite dish greets your eyes, albeit in a form you may never have seen it in before. Encased in a thick, wobbling layer of multi-colored gelatin, the food you know and love now sits suspended in its protein-based enclosure as an eccentric re-imagining of the dish. Furthermore, it only takes a glance to see that the rest of the dining table's spread shares this same theme, as every single dish, sweet or savory, finds itself victim to a jiggling Jell-o jail.

Still, you won't have much time to take this all in before a quiet, high-pitched giggling makes its way to your ears, only crescendoing in volume the longer you sit in this oh-so-familiar dining room. It doesn't take much to find the source of the sound either; unlike the other side, this place is absolutely teeming with fairies to the point where the fluttering of their iridescent wings is clearly audible behind the din of their laughter. As you come to your senses, dozens and dozens of beady eyes watch with their tiny faces stretched out in a wide grin, before speaking in unison.

"Welcome, we can't wait to serve you!"

As the fairies erupt in raucous laughter all around you, at least one more thing is readily apparent: however you met your end, your body is completely whole again. You also have company at the table with you, although whether it's desirable company or not may depend on the circumstances surrounding your death.

In any case, there's nothing stopping anyone from leaving the dining room and roaming freely as usual, and most of the same areas that were available to you on the other side are still present here, albeit with some differences. And though your life may have been stolen from you, it still looks like you have a part in this tale, somehow, someway.

So, will you let your story finish here, or will you write your own ending?

[That said, let's check out that mural!]

[The mural, well. It's painted in dark colors and in a style that looks utterly abstract, combining some strange element of cubism with surrealism. It would be a work of art if not for how unsettling it is and its horrifying images. Here's an approximation of what it looks like.

There's also an inscription below that says: WILL YOU NOT LISTEN TO MOTHER’S WARNINGS? PROCEED ONWARDS NO FURTHER.]

[Ding ding ding, looks like we have a winner here.

When Moriarty says that, a pedestal with a round, black gem appears in front of the mural.]

[can he pick it up or do you guys want to salt it first]

[ yeah he's salting it first but after that suga can pick it up ]

[It can be salted, but nothing happens!

On the inverse side of things, when Moriarty picks it up, the entire corridor turns completely dark to the point where you can't see anything in front of you. And a moment later, faint scratching sounds fill the corridor as somethings seem to grab at them randomly, claws shearing through any clothes and skin easily.]

[Not ideal, especially since Pericles is currently on his shoulder. But the corridor is a straight shot, or at least it was when he could see it.

Does whatever's grabbing at them actually obstruct him from running towards the exit, assuming he's able to ignore the stinging pain from the claws?]

[They'll come from all directions but it is possible for him to push through if he like, tries hard enough and ignores the pain, yep. He'll end up getting torn up pretty badly all over if he does this, though.]

If he takes a swipe at them, can Gin cut the creatures(?) at all?]

[He can cut something but it certainly seems like there's an endless number of them so. Debatable how effective this will be in the long run.]

can the creatures be cut with an iron sword, because he's absolutely going to cut down whatever is in his path, shounen style.

[Salt and iron do seem to elicit some kind of ungodly horrible shrieking, but it doesn't hold them back long, and they'll keep coming for him, so. It can probably keep them off his back as he's running, though!]

[ OK YEAH THIS IS SUPER GREAT, AT LEAST THE SALT AND IRON SEEM TO BE DOING SOMETHING--

but yeah, running out of there ASAP back into the main chamber - can the door be slammed shut to prevent the creatures from coming out once everyone is out in the light??????? because?????? ]

[He can help slam it shut, sure. Nothing to brighten your day like being mauled in the dark.]

[Also throwing his body towards the door in an attempt to get it to click close

he's already dead if internal bleeding becomes a problem he'll just ask someone else to kill him and bring him back it's fine]

[The door can be slammed shut, yep! Congrats on escaping, maybe you'll be able to see Lucifer burning on the other side of the room in the forest corridor now.]

Suga's just going to... sit on the floor for a second. He's bleeding in a number of unpleasant places so if anyone brought a bandage or five that would be appreciated - otherwise he's just going to tear off parts of his sweater for makeshift bandages again.]

[ he's too proper to actually swear but the look on his face is basically extremely "fuck this" but yeah anyway since his jacket is already shredded, so. makeshift bandages for everyone??????

once he's done patching up the worst of the bleeding, and uh, that's probably pretty bad, he's going to just slam the gem they collected into the cavity in the centre door because

god please let nothing attack them when the other gem comes from the forest team????????? ]
