GRAVEYARD PT. II
GRAVEYARD
The world is black. And then you blink at your plate.
A portion of your favorite dish greets your eyes, albeit in a form you may never have seen it in before. Encased in a thick, wobbling layer of multi-colored gelatin, the food you know and love now sits suspended in its protein-based enclosure as an eccentric re-imagining of the dish. Furthermore, it only takes a glance to see that the rest of the dining table's spread shares this same theme, as every single dish, sweet or savory, finds itself victim to a jiggling Jell-o jail.
Still, you won't have much time to take this all in before a quiet, high-pitched giggling makes its way to your ears, only crescendoing in volume the longer you sit in this oh-so-familiar dining room. It doesn't take much to find the source of the sound either; unlike the other side, this place is absolutely teeming with fairies to the point where the fluttering of their iridescent wings is clearly audible behind the din of their laughter. As you come to your senses, dozens and dozens of beady eyes watch with their tiny faces stretched out in a wide grin, before speaking in unison.
"Welcome, we can't wait to serve you!"
As the fairies erupt in raucous laughter all around you, at least one more thing is readily apparent: however you met your end, your body is completely whole again. You also have company at the table with you, although whether it's desirable company or not may depend on the circumstances surrounding your death.
In any case, there's nothing stopping anyone from leaving the dining room and roaming freely as usual, and most of the same areas that were available to you on the other side are still present here, albeit with some differences. And though your life may have been stolen from you, it still looks like you have a part in this tale, somehow, someway.
So, will you let your story finish here, or will you write your own ending?
[Welcome to the Graveyard! This is part 2 of the GY post for Weeks 6 and 7. The previous post for Weeks 2-5 is linked above. Please also view the GY doc linked above for a full rundown of the basics. You may also still submit for items and gacha rolls using the GY shop post.]

[Bird can not actually handle anything bigger than a knife, sorry.]
I woult, however, like to watch, and possibly offer assistance, if vant to practice aiming at a moving target.
no subject
[Smiling a little at his presence!]
A moving target though...? Are you sure?
1/2
[A small nod at the question.]
Of course. Somesing like zat coult be useful in the near future-or at least later times vhen combat is neeted.
2/2
I vill require a target to hold, however. I woult prefer not being vhat is aimed at directly.
[He will accept being stabbed on accident but please don't shank the birb on purpose thank you]
no subject
Yes, I think that would be a good idea. Um, preferably a very big target, too.
[Less likely to hit him even if it goes off course.]
no subject
[Because just carrying around a blanket probably wouldn't be the best target to aim at.]

[Birb only has two legs to grab things while flying.]

[Already flying in the direction of the workshop, because the sooner they get this done the sooner they can work on moving targets!]

[Also luckily just because Yor is not very coordinated at... anything outside of murder.]
no subject
[Because even if he knows how to make robots and other various science things, that doesn’t make it easy for him-a small birb-to make them.
But! This does give him an opportunity for something!]
I have a qvestion for you, if you do not mind my asking. Zere was speculation on vhy you were so skilled in murder, but I woult like to know the true reason if possible.

[Side note: I am so sorry Yor missed the chance to see a drunken birb.]
Vas she correct, or incorrect? I have no room to judge eizer way.

I'm hired to kill terrorists and spies who wish harm on Ostania. At first it was just to earn money for Yuri and I, but...
Well, protecting citizens from those kinds of people can't be bad, can it? There are so many horrendous people who want to hurt and kill innocent people.
no subject
[He should know-he was one of them, previously.]
Zough if you plan to go back, make sure not to lose your vay. If you simply listen to ozers tell you who is good and who is bat-wisout doing any research-zen you may be taken advantage of.
no subject
[Oh boy.]
no subject
Perhaps you have. It still does not change the possibility zat someone coult choose to give you a false profile in the future. Stating zat someone is a terrorist of some sort vhen in reality zey are only a political figure zat is unfavorable.
I may be paranoid, but it is somesing you shoult look out for, just in case.
[Because he does not want anyone taking advantage of murdermom]
no subject
She looks distressed at the thought.]
No, but he wouldn't... I've been working for him for over a decade now-
[?!!!]
no subject
Are you realizing somesing from the past, or somesing you just sait zat you shoult not have? Because if it means anysing, I have no interest in knowing your employer is male ant has a name zat starts wis ‘s’ and ‘h’.
no subject
I can't imagine... that person [correcting herself now that he's pointed out she's spilling the beans.] giving me false information. He's so protective of Ostania... that's why he trained us to prune away any rot that could fester.
no subject
[Small nod]
If you trust zem so much, zen I can be wrong. I still recomment doing research of your own as vell. Zere is such thing as being too informed.
no subject
I'll try to be careful. Thank you, Professor. Hopefully they won't have had a difficult time cleaning things up without me...
no subject
So…from vhat I have seen of your skills, it is possibly in some middle grount.
[Because he is not convinced there is anyone better than Yor after the stunt she pulled with Gin. That was smart as Hell!]
no subject
They usually sent me after the large groups... I could take care of them in a single night, after all.
[Whoof.]
