GRAVEYARD PT. II
GRAVEYARD
The world is black. And then you blink at your plate.
A portion of your favorite dish greets your eyes, albeit in a form you may never have seen it in before. Encased in a thick, wobbling layer of multi-colored gelatin, the food you know and love now sits suspended in its protein-based enclosure as an eccentric re-imagining of the dish. Furthermore, it only takes a glance to see that the rest of the dining table's spread shares this same theme, as every single dish, sweet or savory, finds itself victim to a jiggling Jell-o jail.
Still, you won't have much time to take this all in before a quiet, high-pitched giggling makes its way to your ears, only crescendoing in volume the longer you sit in this oh-so-familiar dining room. It doesn't take much to find the source of the sound either; unlike the other side, this place is absolutely teeming with fairies to the point where the fluttering of their iridescent wings is clearly audible behind the din of their laughter. As you come to your senses, dozens and dozens of beady eyes watch with their tiny faces stretched out in a wide grin, before speaking in unison.
"Welcome, we can't wait to serve you!"
As the fairies erupt in raucous laughter all around you, at least one more thing is readily apparent: however you met your end, your body is completely whole again. You also have company at the table with you, although whether it's desirable company or not may depend on the circumstances surrounding your death.
In any case, there's nothing stopping anyone from leaving the dining room and roaming freely as usual, and most of the same areas that were available to you on the other side are still present here, albeit with some differences. And though your life may have been stolen from you, it still looks like you have a part in this tale, somehow, someway.
So, will you let your story finish here, or will you write your own ending?
[Welcome to the Graveyard! This is part 2 of the GY post for Weeks 6 and 7. The previous post for Weeks 2-5 is linked above. Please also view the GY doc linked above for a full rundown of the basics. You may also still submit for items and gacha rolls using the GY shop post.]

TRIAL AFTERMATH AND "WHAT THE FUCK" HONESTLY
I'm sure we have... thoughts on what happened just now before the image cut off rather... unceremoniously.
[ please they're all dying for deets. ]
One thing that concerns me is what Marcus mentioned about... wanting the game to end, with Hamelin. According to Ferry, the game ends when it ends, after all, and I was of the opinion that the game would end when all the crystal seals on our side were broken, although deduction tells me that isn't quite the case.
[ if jack wants to drop any deets now would be a goddamn good time otherwise the catyard is probably going to either 1.) interrogate him 2.) argue among themselves... ]

If he was part of a previous group of players, and he runs a "famiglia" recruited from players, would he be acquainted with the kids in the crystals?
[Did they perma-kill Ham's friends? Is that why he's grumpy???]
no subject
Those children in crystals being from a previous game like this would line up too...we're at risk of being turned into crystals ourselves if we can't escape, aren't we?

Or, could just be we haven't found the adults yet.

[The bigger the hollow, the more they need to eat or the stronger the prey they need to eat. This thing does seem to work on at least a little bit of Hollow Logic, so might be applicable.]

[ Are they suppose to have any faith in them after all this? ]

If everything ends soon, perhaps there's no point in censoring ourselves in letters? If we're able ta send more.
[Maybe if they just take decision making out of the livings' hands (minus Tenn)]

[ She's... quite tired of the trying to hide messages carefully too. ]
I wouldn't even probably send anything useful if we do.

Somethin' to ask Ferry-san then.

[ because if she can, she intends to leave immediately. And the only one she'd say goodbye to is Tenn. ]

I see you've assembled yourself a nice little circle here.
The dead certainly are much more united, I suppose.
[Just idle commentary. His arms are crossed and although his posture is studiously relaxed, there's a watchful quality about his eyes no matter where he's placed in the room; perhaps he might be forgiven that one, though.
On the bright side, hey, new threads. He's also been looking increasingly more bemused, expression-wise, as the meeting goes on.]
This really is... quite the game, isn't it? [halfway to himself] Well, I suppose we may as well exchange information for the moment. What is this about crystal seals, now? Is it related to the crystals Edelgard was speaking of?

Hmm...
[There is a lot of information, but he doesn't complain or equivocate the way he might have in life at the volume and breadth of it; simply turns it over thoughtfully, considering things to himself with a quiet expression.
There's a glance at that dull crystal, too.]
If that is indeed one of the crystals you've been retrieving, and it has a corpse in it, then the inference is fairly obvious. Unfortunately, none of us are Edelgard and cannot match the imagery exactly.
You say you've been bringing them to the shopkeeper?
[That's kind of a rhetorical question.]
no subject
It's obviously not our corpses though, as we've heard from Edelgard, as it's been investigated to be a child that can be seen in the ice maze. Of course, we could be the next seals, that's very possible.
Ferry apparently didn't even know about the "corpses", if that's what you're getting at. We've had our suspicions about them too and hopefully people keep their expectations tempered by such.
no subject
[He seemingly files that away without any real reaction.]
So that is called the "void creature" here. Assuming that it is related to the mirror entity on the other side? Or something else? Though I will note that none of the individuals who are known to have been visited by that entity have made their way here. Interesting. [...] Are we aware of what these seals are sealing? I am also curious about how our bodies may be "returned"; it makes one wonder as to their location.
no subject
Supposedly, they're sealing us in as we cannot leave this place. Our bodies apparently can be restored by magic, once that thing is defeated or at least, weakened.
I would have thought your friend would have told you that.
