EXPLORER
You are the Explorer.
Upon waking up at the start of the week, you will feel a strange tingling throughout their body. There seems to be no physical change on them, but they'll instinctively feel something is different. From there on they may continue their everyday life... ...until they encounter a mirror, that is.
❦ The Explorer has the ability to enter a mirror. Inside they'll find a pocket dimension and go through a short adventure that can result in at least one of the following: effects on the character who completed the exploration, information about game lore, or tidbits about the NPC situation. The result will be reached according to what you do in that adventure, and will essentially amount to about three or four IC choices.
❦ As further indication they may enter mirrors, when they're in the vicinity of one they'll see it rippling like water and shining faintly, inviting them to approach. However, if they're not inclined to approach for whatever reason, they may find themselves physically forced through a mirror once they encounter a room containing one. As a side note, although they can see what's dragging them in, none of it is reflected on the mirror itself.
❦ At the end of every adventure, the character will start feeling sleepy and then faint, waking up outside of the mirror. They'll feel strangely well rested, with no lasting effects on themselves done by anything while inside the pocket dimension in the mirror.
❦ Once an adventure has been completed, they may enter the pocket dimension again until their powers expire, but will find nothing of use -- all choices have been made already. It's worth noting as soon as they enter they'll start feeling sleepy again, fainting once again after half an hour.
❦ The ability to enter mirrors will ICly expire on Thursday at sundown, and if by that time the character is inside a mirror, they'll get thrown out immediately, meaning hiding inside that pocket dimension to avoid murder is not an option.
❦ OOCly, you may arrange to enter the mirror anytime between Sunday at 12:00 PM EST/9:00 AM EST to Wednesday 9:00 PM EST/6:00 PM PST. Please let the mods know when you would prefer to do this at least 24 hours in advance.
❦ You're not obligated to divulge any findings made during your adventure. If your character wishes to share their findings, that's acceptable. If your character wants to keep the findings to themselves, that's acceptable as well.
