Raven, you are the Knight.
Upon coming to at the welcome feast and gaining their bearings, Raven will discover that they have a rolled up piece of parchment in their shoe with a small satchel of blue cornflower petals and a written message tucked inside. The letter reads:
❦ In the event the selected character is chosen as a victim for murder, there is a 50% chance that the murder is turned around on the original killer who dies by the Knight's hand, and a 50% chance that the Knight dies in the victim's place. Regardless of the outcome, the victim will be saved upon a correct selection.
❦ Each week prior to Tuesday, @ 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST, the Knight will pick one character to protect. A character cannot be protected multiple weeks in succession.
❦ ICly the Knight will be woken up by the distinct peppery scent of the dried cornflowers if their victim is in danger. They will not be required to sleep in the same place as their victim, as long as they are nearby. The moderators will reach out to the Knight to coordinate and confirm locations each week after check-in.
❦ Red may be contacted by writing a letter and slipping it under a loose floorboard belowRaven's bed at any time. Replies will slip out the same way. OOCly, you can use this post for any and all communication.
❦ You may divulge your role at any point in the game you like, and to any numbers of characters you like. Be aware, however, that the knight cannot protect themselves and thus can be targeted like any other character. Additionally, keep in mind there are other roles in the game who may try to thwart your efforts.

Every fairytale needs a knight in shining armor, doesn't it? Someone who can stand up in the face of corruption and all the evils villains can throw and then some, Raven, you're that type of person, aren't you?❦ The Knight has the ability to protect one other character a week from being a victim, at the potential cost of their own life. Unlike other characters, the Knight can achieve their wish by carrying out their role each week, regardless of whether they are successful in saving anyone.
Don't be shy or modest. I can't help everyone, but I can help even the playing field just a little bit. Temptation might get the better of your companions, but you can save them—or at least one of them. Wishes don't need to always be paid for in blood.
Usually I like to deliver my gifts in person, so you'll just need to use your imagination here, okay? These flowers will wake you up at night if the soul you've guarded needs protection. They're better than any alarm clock and certainly smell better than one!
And if you need to talk to me, or want to talk to me, just write me back and slip this letter under your bed. You'll know the spot when you see it.
